This change will do a major update of all mirrors, because signed RPM are not the same, so they will be re-synced on all mirrors.

People should now import the official pubkey. They can remove the cooker one if they want, but installed RPMs on the system will stay signed with the cooker key.

You can use any 2011 repository to import the key:

rpm --import ftp://ftp.proxad.net/pub/Distributions_Linux/MandrivaLinux/official/2011/i586/media/media_info/pubkey_contrib
rpm --import ftp://ftp.proxad.net/pub/Distributions_Linux/MandrivaLinux/official/2011/i586/media/media_info/pubkey_main

Actually, most of the repository packages are forked from the PLF repository. If you want additional codecs, programs with “bad” licenses, etc, you should look at this repo.

Ok, during this month Mandriva team make next:
- Mandriva sync now can work in “folder sync” mode, not only in “file sync”
- pulseaudio come to 1.0 version
- x11-server now is 1.11.1 version
- we start backporting rpm 4x to contrib/backports repository for compatiblity reasons
- java stack is finally up
- up can update kernel to 3.0 or 3.1 (manually)

This new release features enhancements in the mail, network and password policies modules.

The mail module features a more complete solution for aliases management. Aliases can be populated with LDAP users and/or external mail addresses.

The network module provide a new DNS zone record editor as well as a new interface for configuring DHCP failover.

With the password policies module you are now able to create multiple policies (password length, complexity, minimum/maximum age etc…) and apply them to users.

The MDS packages are available for Mandriva Enterprise Server, Mandriva Desktop, Debian, Redhat (and more) with a user interface in the following languages: English, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German and Spanish.
