un excellent alternatif pour le troisième monde. les licences mandriva sont les plus économiques par rapport aux schémas privatives. C’est a dire , la meilleur mélange parmi l’open source, la Qualité et la facilité a l’usage.

Congrotulations for the new Mandriva version.. I am still downloading the Mandriva Spring 2009.1 free, know but downloading speed is quit slow, it need 2 days. But I interest to get it. I have wait more month for a launching this. Mandriva is my favorite OS, since I use it in 2009.0 free version…

Thanks for the excellent release. Mandriva is simply the best KDE deistribution and in my opinion the best for people new to Linux. Big thanks to all working hard on making all this possible, including translators for making it available in Slovenian language.

I forget it: I think that la Ora needs improvements in QT4 version (window buttons [close, maximize, etc...] are deformed, and more integration of Mandriva Control Center on KDE4 (when I change the QT theme, the control center becames horrible).
But in general, the best I think.

I have been a long-time Linux user (since 1998), first using Conectiva, Red Hat, Debian, then Ubuntu. I finally have found a Linux distro that Just Works and keeps me happy, because it’s truly hassle free!

After using RC2, which worked well for me I am now using 2009.0 PWP and am very pleased so far.
It will be interesting to see how many updates are necessary during the next 2 months, as experience with previous releases has shown that several months of updates are required to make the system stable on the wide range of hardware.
Running 2009.1 on an MSI wind 2gb/500gb–runs very well. Thanks!

I’ve got some troubles with the Free Edition as well as with the latest Ubuntu, but
Mandriva One 2009.1 is the best Linux system I ever installed. And I tried over
80 systems the last 6 months. Really good. I do nearly everything with Mandriva,
exept those things I need Vista. Easy to install, easy to use, stable and fast. Bonne

Fazem 8 anos que uso Linux,começei com o Freedows Linux depois passei para Ubuntu,Debian,Slackware,Solaris,Mandrake,OpenSuse,Mandriva,Windows XP,Vista E até estou experimentando Windows 7.
Mas meu ultimo Linux instalado definitivamente é Mandriva2009,porém foi atualizado automaticamente com minha permissão,sendo assim é de longe uma das melhores Distros que uso atualmente.
Parabens a todos que ajudaram direta e indiretamente!

After its release I downloaded Mandriva Free 2009.1 and to my surprise the distro
had a lot of bugs. For that reason I installed the One Edition which worked really
good. Yesterday I upgraded my Free 2009 Edition up to 2009.1. And this way it
works, very good ad extremely fast. Don’t ask me why. I have no idea, but it works.
