Installfest follow-up: email problems

As previously posted, a worldwide installfest for Mandriva Linux 2009 is planned for November 22nd. We asked groups interested in hosting an event as part of the installfest to contact us at lugs AT mandrivalinux DOT org and/or add their information to the Wiki page for the event.

Registrations are now more or less closed (see the Wiki page for more details). All groups who registered the mailing address for their group on the Wiki page will be receiving the installfest material: we are in the process of organising and sending it out right now. However, we had problems with the lugs AT mandrivalinux DOT org email address – it was configured as a mailing list rather than an ordinary alias. This means that all mail sent to it before today has been lost. If you contacted us by email rather than adding your details to the Wiki page, or you sent important additional information by email, please re-send your mail. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thanks to everyone for your interest in helping to make the event a success.

Edit: sorry, it was not entirely fixed when I posted it. If you received a mailer daemon, please send your message again.

      Hi Brian,

Thanks for your comment, now it’s really fixed.
Adam was wrong, he didn’t test it before posting on the blog.
      Sorry for the inconvenience.
You can know send your message without any trouble.

      Damien

  2. Damien: I’m sorry for being dumb enough to trust what you guys tell me…:\
